GovBot Organization Records (https://records-api.govbot.ai). Effective date: 2026-10-18.
This notice applies to the GovBot Organization Records connector only. It is operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.
Information received
- The connector has no accounts and no sign-in, and it sets no cookies.
- The service does not receive conversation content. It receives only the tool arguments the assistant sends, such as organization names, identifiers, tickers and years.
Logs and counters
- Standard request logs record the time, request path, response status and network address. They are retained for 30 days for operation and abuse prevention.
- Tool arguments are not written to logs.
- Per-network counters used for rate limiting are short-lived.
Disclosure
We do not sell data. To answer a query, the service forwards the relevant search terms to the public data publishers it reads: the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, USAspending.gov (U.S. Department of the Treasury), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (U.S. Department of Transportation). These publishers receive requests from the service, not from the user's device.
Hosting
The service is hosted on Google Cloud in the United States. Google Cloud processes requests and operational logs to provide hosting and security.
Your choices
No account is required and no user profile is stored. You can stop using the service at any time. During the 30-day retention period, you can request deletion of your request-log entries by emailing hello@govbot.ai. Include the approximate request time so we can help locate the entries; do not send sensitive personal information.
