These terms cover the GovBot Organization Records service operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.

Service and limitations

This is a read-only service for retrieving public organization records from official U.S. federal agency APIs. It does not change agency records. Results include source and match information so you can review the underlying records.

The service is provided as available, without a warranty of accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted availability. Agency records may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable, and name matches may refer to a different organization. Check the linked source and identifiers before relying on a result. An empty result is not proof that no record exists.

Results are not legal, eligibility or compliance advice and do not determine whether an organization qualifies for funding, contracting or another program. The service is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency or OpenAI.

Acceptable use

Use the service for individual public-record inquiries within its request limits and the source agencies' published limits. Do not bulk extract records, bypass rate limits or access controls, disrupt the service, or submit secrets or sensitive personal information. Access may be limited to prevent abuse or protect service availability.
